Unguja, also known as Zanzibar Island, is the main island in the Tanzanian archipelago of Zanzibar. Stone Town, part of Zanzibar City, is an old trade center, with mosques and winding lanes. The 1883 House of Wonders is a former sultan’s palace with a clock tower. The Old Fort now houses a cultural center and a stone amphitheater. Underground aqueducts fed hot water to the late-19th-century Hamamni Persian Baths.
KENDWA BEACH, SUNSET CRUISE
Experience a 2-hour sunset catamaran cruise along the North coast of Zanzibar. If the winds are favorable, prepare to hoist the sails, a unique and relaxing sensation. NAKUPENDA SANDBANK
Nakupenda (In Swahili means I LOVE YOU) is the name of an amazing sandbank located just off Stone Town. A Full day trip dedicates Prison Island’s giants’ tortoises visit, snorkeling, sunbathing, the taste of Seafood and seasonal fruits. Snorkeling off Prison island, viewing a stunning array of colored corals and tropical fish of the islands before reaching our dream place Nakupenda. A place where brilliant birdlife exists, very white sand, limpid, and crystalline water. You would live in the natural reserve that hospitable by its naturalistic and their proper pearls of Indian Ocean. The language of the white sands and their alternative sea appear and disappear. VILLAGE TOUR
On this tour you will be able to see while walking through the village and capitalizing on the village life of the locals carrying on with their daily activities like grinding millets with mortar pestles, thatching coconut palms and preparation of bread for evening meal (guests are welcome to taste). We move to see locals climbing coconut trees, and coconut products like madafu milk, baskets, rope, poles coconut palm caps. The fun part of the tour is actually having guests trying to climb a coconut free. You wouldn't want to leave Zanzibar without trying it would you? The Village Tour proceeds further to a field cassava plantation and bananas with their various products can be seen and tasted cassava weaving of baskets, floor mats, brooms, food covers etc.
FISHING GAME TOUR
Zanzibar is fortunate in having superb fishing almost all the year. Fishing in Zanzibar is synonymous as some of the most exhilarating and challenging deep-sea fishing is available. It gets more interesting when the North East monsoon blows, the billfish arrive in great numbers. BLUE LAGOON HALF DAY TOUR
The turquoise blue waters of Indian Ocean spread along the coastline of Zanzibar. However, visiting the Blue Lagoon is much more than lovely exploration of tropical fishes and reefs. It is one of those places where you can swim with hundreds of fishes, enjoy the diversity of underwater life and be amazed. Trip to the Blue Lagoon is tide dependent, low tide is usually better for sight and with calm water which makes it better underwater visibility of corals and fish as well as for swimming itself.
MNEMBA ISLAND TOUR
Mnemba Island is a hidden oasis of white sand and sapphire waters. The private island is a secluded paradise for couples and families who want to unwind, make memories, and reconnect with nature in a breath-taking setting in the Zanzibar archipelago. Located 3km off the northeast coast of Unguja, Mnemba Island is a small, exclusive island which sits within a halo of coral reef. The island is adorned with pristine white sand beaches and a casuarina pine forest, and it is owned by &Beyond. &Beyond offers 12 luxurious beachside bandas which accommodate 24 guests, and their attentive staff outnumber guests by two to one. The island is roughly triangular, and its 1.5km circumference gives it an intimate ambience.
SAFARI BLUE
After breakfast we will drive you to Fumba Village on the South West of Zanzibar where you will board a traditional dhow with other guests to experience the beauty of the Minai bay conservation area, and get a chance to see the dolphins, swim at one of the pristine sandbanks, visit the islets and snorkel at the coral reefs. Safari Blue is a full day trip and includes use of snorkeling equipment with guides and instructors, ice-cold sodas, mineral water and beer, buffet lunch of delicious Zanzibari seafood that includes grilled fish, slipper lobster & calamari. Seasonal fruits and coffee will also be served. When the tide is high you will also explore the natural lagoon found on Kwale islet, this lagoon is surrounded by a mangrove forest where you will swim for an unforgettable experience. We round the day off by returning to Fumba by a traditional lanteen sail.
DOLPHIN TOUR
It takes an hour drive from stone town to Kizimkazi, a small village to the southern tip of the island. Here you will be taken by an engine boat to the sea to see and if you are lucky enough swim with the dolphin. Please note that the dolphin are wild, but there is a big chance of 80% to see them.
PRISON ISLAND
Is also known as Changuu island, is one of the nearest islands to stone town and its original use was as a prison for renegade slaves punished by their masters, an Arab landowner. Later it was taken over by the British army, and another prison was built there but never used. The larger house on the island was built by British general Lloyd Mathews, commander of the army of sultan Bargash. Today , people visit the island to see the giant, gentle land tortoises, some of which are reputedly over a hundred years old. The island has some excellent coral formation offshore, its good for snorkeling.
SPICE TOUR
Zanzibar is also famous as ‘’spice Island’’. We will take you to the spice farm which is outside stone town to kizimbani or kidichi, approximately 30 to 40 minutes drive in a private comfortable van. There you will be able to see, smell and taste different flesh spices & fruits, our professional guides will explain each spice and its uses, some are used as traditional medicines. Some are cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, garlic, chillies, black papper, nutmeg and vanilla. And finally you will have a chance to buy spices in our local shops which mostly are within the spice farm.
STONE TOWN TOUR

JOZANI FOREST
GoZanzi Tours will take you to Jozan forest which is a conservation project aimed at preserving some of the last indigenous forest on the island. The forest is home of the unique species of monkey, Kirk’s red colobus, as well as the rare forest antelope, Ader’s Duiker and many species of birds. A walk through mangrove trees that form part of the forest.
